We are pleased to announce that a new call for our Lincam funding programme is now open.
We are seeking innovative, novel technology that can be applied to agri-tech challenges, in particular in the following areas, but all applications accepted:
This call focuses on the following challenges:
- AI solutions to transform agriculture
- Reduction of emissions/NetZero
- Crop storage and logistics
- Data driven farming
- Crops of the future
- Climate resilience
Deadline for short Expression of interest applications: 10th December 2025.
Scope in brief:
- Technology must be novel
- UK University or RTO researchers only
- Crop-based technology
- Must have relevance to Lincam region – note researchers do NOT need to be based in the Lincam region to be eligible for funding.
- Project must be at least 50% EPSRC scope e.g. AI, chemistry, robotics, material science, engineering, computer science, physics etc.

There will be two online sessions for prospective applicants to explain more about the funding available and application procedure and answer any questions.
