Ian Wood is a Commercialisation Manager at the University of East Anglia, where he works on the ACE project – an initiative focused on establishing a national technology transfer office for Agri-Tech.
Ian joined the Ceres team from an agrochemical formulation company, where he collaborated with research teams, SMEs, and start-ups to help them achieve their objectives. His work centred on integrating complementary products to enhance value, and he also led successful initiatives delivering end-point testing in partnership with UK academic institutions.
Earlier in his career, Ian spent over a decade in academia, undertaking postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge and the Institute of Food Research.
He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of East Anglia, completed at the Norwich Research Park.
